About Shinycraft

I’m Chantal, the artist behind Shinycraft. My Pyrography artwork is burned by hand from my home in Leeds, England.

I have always had a fascination with witchcraft and spooky things, so my work often reflects this, but I also enjoy creating artwork featuring animals and flowers, and also like to challenge myself with portraits.

I’ve been lucky enough to have been given some amazing opportunities to showcase my work. I was a featured artist on series 3 of BBC One’s Make it at Markey TV show with Dom Chinea. I also teamed up with Disney for a social media campaign for their Haunted Mansion Movie.

All my work is burned freehand so even with the same design, you will have a completely unique piece of art.

I also love to take commissions, so if there is something special you have in mind please feel free to contact me to discuss your ideas. And it doesn’t have to be just Pyrography! I have previously been commissioned to create logos, pencil artwork, murals, window painting and much more!

It’s an absolute honour and a privilege to be a volunteer artist for Supershoes U.K.

Supershoes is a charity where artists volunteer to paint converse shoes for children and young people fighting cancer. The shoes bring so much joy to these children at such a difficult time for them and their families.
